Hi all,

Well, let me start by being honest and say that my name is not Betty, it is Ann  :)  I am a mother of 3 young kids, one who has ADD. I became very interested in the field of neurofeedback after seeing the benefits my son received from his treatment and I look forward to this community growing and hence the topics that will follow.

Hi Admin, Betty, ForumMates!

Rex here, an American expat living in Thailand.  I thought I was aware of all or most of the NFB forums, but this one is new to me and looks cool.  Nice to meet y'all!

I am a student of NFB, I have my didactic hours and some limited hands-on practice, but there is almost no one doing anything in Thailand, and no one near my town. A couple of years ago, I was lucky enouch to find a mentor living in Chiang Mai, but unfortunately he passd away unexpectedly.  Lost a friend and a mentor at the same time!   :(

Because I have someting of a block aobut using EEG technically and cognitively, I mostly focus on HEG and HRV and other mind-body disciplines until I can hook up with a new mentor and a situation to get more real-time, hands-on practice. I have invested a lot of cash in in Q-Wiz, didactice coruse, et al, and it is a shame to be "dead in the water"  C'est lavie!

Meanwhile HEG is very powerful, and there is a vast population of ADHD & AS kids in Thailand who I hope can benefit from it.

I look forward to partipating on these forums and being in touch with others.

Welcome to the forum Rex!

Firstly let me send my condolences at the loss of your friend.

To be honest I was hoping the forum would have taken off more than it has. But I will keep it up and hope that more people like yourself come on board.

Hope Thailand is treating you well.
